EnerDel Announces Certification to the ISO 9001:2015 Standard
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – 16 November 2017 –EnerDel, a leading supplier of advanced lithium-ion batteries, announces that as of November 11, 2017, it has been certified under ISO 9001:2015 by Smithers Quality Assessments (SQA). EnerDel began the road to ISO 9001:2015 certification in May of 2017, and in a short six months, achieved the certification. This is the first time EnerDel has achieved certification.
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 is the most recent standard of its kind that is designed to help organizations ensure that they can meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders. Essentially, it helps companies develop a management system that is aligned with the overall quality objectives and wider business strategy. While EnerDel has been committed to quality in its products and services, ISO’s focus on process controls, risk-based thinking, and accountability allows EnerDel to improve communication, efficiency, and strive for continuous improvement within the organization.
