MAJOR FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides administrative and analytical support to both the CEO and Business Development Director. Responsible for overall business development office activities. Support & monitor customer activities, coordinate annual conferences and work on special projects. Will be required to respond to customer business inquiries & questions.

PRIMARY DUTIES

·         Preparing proposals, presentations & special reports.

·         Drafting letters, sales planning, forecasting and quote activity.

·         Conducting research and assisting in the development of annual Business Plan. 

·         Assisting and responding to business development inquiries.

·         Maintaining and tracking "Open Quote" log and monitor timelines.

·         In conjunction with Account Manager, tracking program piece price and tooling history

·         Assisting in development and maintenance of the EnerDel "Sales Forecast" (4 year- projections).

·         Recording receipt of and log customer purchase orders

·         Assist in maintaining the current years "Sales Plan".

·         Maintaining "Open Commercial" issues report with assistance of Acct Managers.

·         All other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Professional demeanor and telephone manner.

·         Excellent command of the English language – both oral and written.

·         Must be able to provide quality work with excellent attention to detail.

·         Good planning and organizational skills.

·         Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction.

·         Must be self-motivated and pro-active.

·         Ability to multitask and work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.

·         Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE

·         5-7 years previous related experience is preferred.

·         Associates degree required.  BA/BS in business administration or related field preferred.

·         Experience in the automotive, powertrain or battery industry is a strong advantage.
