MAJOR FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the design and installation of quality assurance systems, procedures and statistical techniques compliant with ISO/TS16949 requirements.
PRIMARY DUTIES
·Generate and facilitate development of APQP and PPAP documents (work instructions, flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plans, PSWs).·Develop or specify inspection and testing equipment.·Analyze production and quality data.·Recommend revision of specifications when needed.·Assist in formulating quality control policies and procedures; develop the economics of any quality control program when needed.·Process trouble-shooting, customer complaints response, customer approval process, (PSO, PPAP, etc,) and problem solving.·All other duties as necessary and assigned.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE
§5-7 years previous quality engineering experience required.§Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.§CQE preferred.§APQP documentation (flow diagrams, control plans & P/DFMEA’s) experience required.§Previous automotive supplier experience helpful.§ISO/TS 16949 experience preferred.
