Position Overview:

EnerDel designs, builds and manufactures lithium-ion energy storage solutions and battery systems with a focus on heavy duty transportation, on- and off-grid electrical, mass transit and task-oriented applications. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing a variety of human resource support duties that help meet goals and objectives of the department and company vision. This role’s primary focus will be Payroll data/processing each Monday and Benefits. To be successful in this role, candidate must have full payroll processing knowledge and ADP HRIS experience. This position provides recommendations regarding the development and administration of human resource policies and programs.

Essential Job Functions

  • Payroll processing
  • Benefits and plan administration
  • Facilitating human resources processes
  • Ensuring the effective utilization of plans related to HR programs and services
  • Assisting with the performance review and termination processes
  • Assisting with the recruitment and interview processes
  • Handles employment application intake
  • Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance to ensure employee data is correct in ADP
  • Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
  • Conduct new-employee orientations
  • Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel action.
  • Prepares job postings
  • Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status
  • Assists the manager with HR project
  • Co-champion employee activity committee, and assist with employee events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Preferred:

    • Associate degree or equivalent education and/or work experience
    • Three (3) to Six (6) years of HR Generalist/Payroll experience
    • Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
    • Strong organizational skills, and handle multi-task/projects
    • Ability to compose and release employee communications
    • Ability to facility employee meetings (HR annual training, open enrollment, etc.)
    • Intermediate level of MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word)
    • Ability to use critical thinking in daily work and own tasks and takes ownership of work assigned
    • Emotional and social intelligence
