Position Overview:
EnerDel designs, builds, and manufactures lithium-ion energy storage solutions and battery systems with a focus on heavy duty transportation, on- and off-grid electrical, mass transit and task-oriented applications. The Project Manager will be responsible for the management, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of assigned program ensuring consistency with broader team and company strategy, commitments and goals.
Essential Job Functions
- Develops and manages project delivery schedules
- Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals, deliverables, stakeholders, and critical success factors
- Defines project tasks and resource requirements
- Leads cross-functional team for project delivery
- Manages project budget
- Works with organization to identify project resources
- Tracks team project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Manages project to prevent scope creep
- Interfaces with the customer to ensure proper communication and project tracking
- Provides direction and support to the project team
- Monitors progress and provides status reports to the leadership team
- Presents reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
- Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Applies change, risk/issue and resource management
- Escalates project risk and issues for quick resolution
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Preferred:-
- Bachelor degree in business or related field
- 5+ years experience as a Project Manager with an understanding of project management techniques and methods
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.)
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- APQP experience is a plus
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus
