Company Profile

EnerDel, Inc., located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, is commercializing high-rate lithium power modules for hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and other select markets. The company is owned 80.5% by Ener1, Inc. (OTCBB: ENEI) 19.5% by Delphi Corporation (NYSE: DPH).

Our proprietary technologies include high-rate battery electrodes and an automated mass production process developed with the help of Enerstruct, Inc., Ener1's joint venture company with $90 billion Japanese industrial conglomerate ITOCHU Corporation. The company is leveraging the engineering services of a highly qualified team of production engineers from Enerstruct. This group's 100+ years of collective experience includes overseeing production automation at some of the world's largest lithium battery companies, including Sony, GS Battery and Sanyo.

As the US market for fuel efficient hybrid vehicles experiences an exponential increase, and automotive manufacturers prepare to build hybrid vehicles in the US to be closer to the largest HEV market, EnerDel will be ready with a lithium power module designed to meet the demands of this emerging market. The performance advantages of EnerDel's high-rate battery electrodes, as well as the systems integration capabilities from partner Delphi, combined with automated manufacturing, will help us become a leading supplier of low cost battery solutions that improve the performance and efficiency of hybrid electric vehicles.
