MAJOR FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior CAD Designer is responsible for preparation of major design layouts of complex units and/or complete products.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Make all necessary design computations.
- Work with other designers, detailers and engineers to achieve completed design.
- Create general product specifications.
- Create and propose new design concepts.
- Exchange information with others outside the work group.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Expert in the use of CAD and document control tools required.
- Ability to follow design standards, guidelines and best practices is a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Expert level Unigraphics skill required.
- AutoCAD and ORCAD proficiency preferred.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE
- 5-10 years product design experience in a related field required.
- Associates degree in related field preferred.
