MAJOR FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and design facility construction and expansions

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Manage new facility construction and expansions.
  • Ensure equipment and processes comply with applicable safety, regulatory and engineering standards.
  • Perform electrical repairs to starters, switches, receptacles and wiring.
  • Coordinate facilities projects including planning, cost estimation, tracking, control and scheduling.
  • Provide operations engineering support.
  • Work closely with team members to identify, design and implement improvements of the facility’s equipment and processes.
  • Represent team in interactions with engineering, craft and construction contractors.
  • Manage machine shop.
  • All other duties as necessary and assigned.

  • Ability to manage facility construction and expansion.
  • Knowledge of applicable safety, regulatory and engineering standards.
  • Ability to perform routine electrical work.
  • Successful budget management experience.
  • Project Management: ability to organize and manage multiple products through manufacturing process.
  • Quality orientation and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with vendors, customers and employees.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working with high performance teams.
  • Ability to maintain safe work environment.
  • Ability to perform problem analysis and problem resolution.
  • Able to easily adapt to changing situations.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 7 years facility engineer experience required.
