MAJOR FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and design facility construction and expansions
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Manage new facility construction and expansions.
- Ensure equipment and processes comply with applicable safety, regulatory and engineering standards.
- Perform electrical repairs to starters, switches, receptacles and wiring.
- Coordinate facilities projects including planning, cost estimation, tracking, control and scheduling.
- Provide operations engineering support.
- Work closely with team members to identify, design and implement improvements of the facility’s equipment and processes.
- Represent team in interactions with engineering, craft and construction contractors.
- Manage machine shop.
- All other duties as necessary and assigned.

- Ability to manage facility construction and expansion.
- Knowledge of applicable safety, regulatory and engineering standards.
- Ability to perform routine electrical work.
- Successful budget management experience.
- Project Management: ability to organize and manage multiple products through manufacturing process.
- Quality orientation and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work with vendors, customers and employees.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with high performance teams.
- Ability to maintain safe work environment.
- Ability to perform problem analysis and problem resolution.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 7 years facility engineer experience required.
