We are a small, rapidly growing company hiring highly motivated, organized self-starters with a can do attitude.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and design product applications and assemble project teams. Responsible for organizing highly complex activities for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of engineering projects.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Develop new designs and technology such that capability, cost, and
quality satisfy customer requirements.
- Develop product designs based on customer and internal requirements.
- Define product and process specifications.
- Establish test criteria and gauging for evaluation of specifications.
- Statistically evaluate data to insure both product and process conformance.
- Follow design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Design for manufacturing with built-in product error proofing.
- Provide project financial estimates.
- Establish and maintain good supplier/customer relations.
- Provide innovative product concepts and processing methods.
- Provide manufacturing cell footprints and system layouts.
- Lead peer reviews for product and process failure mode analysis (FMEA's).
- Manage the design, build, and qualification of assembly cells and systems.
- Manage cost tracking and comply to forecasted budgets.
- Write operator instructions, control plans, maintenance manuals.
- Provide technical problem solving / process trouble-shooting.
- Support the continuous improvement activities for the enhancement of product quality, cost, process cycle time, up-time, ergonomics, and safety.
- Support certification activities.
- Support and comply with company culture, policies, procedures, and 'team work' philosophy.
- All other duties as necessary and assigned.

- Project Management: ability to organize and manage multiple products through manufacturing process.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE
- Mechanical Engineering or related degree required.
- Minimum 7 years related experience required.
