We are a small, rapidly growing company hiring highly motivated, organized self-starters with a can do attitude.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Quality team with establishing control processes, procedures and analysis techniques.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Design and installation of quality control process systems, procedures, and statistical techniques.
- Participate in development and implementation of new and existing programs through APQP process.
- Develop APQP and PPAP documents (Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Control Plans, PSWs)
- Develop or specify inspection and testing equipment.
- Analyzes production and quality data.
- Recommends revision of specifications when indicated.
- Assist in formulating quality control policies and procedures; develops the economics of any quality control program when needed.
- Process trouble-shooting, customer complaints response, customer approval process, (PSO, PPAP, etc) and Problem Solving.
- All other duties as necessary and assigned.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Project Management: ability to organize and manage multiple products through manufacturing process.
- Quality orientation and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work with vendors, customers and employees.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with high performance teams.

- Ability to perform problem analysis and problem resolution.
- Must be able to easily adapt to changing situations.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years previous quality engineering experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
- APQP documentation (flow diagrams, control plans & P/DFMEA's) experience required.
- Previous automotive supplier experience helpful.
- CQE certification helpful.
- ISO/TS 16949 experience preferred.
