EnerDel is collaborating with U.S. national research laboratories and its technology partner Enerstruct – a joint venture between Ener1 and ITOCHU Corporation, on unique materials and technologies to power next generation Hybrid Electric Vehicles. Our goal is to be the leading supplier of Lithium-ion batteries to automotive manufacturers in North America. Our vision is to produce a battery that will power the next generation of HEVs and pave the way for the commercialization of other fuel-efficient autos, such as "plug-in" hybrid electric and fuel cell vehicles – markets we also intend to serve.

Beyond the automotive sector, EnerDel intends to apply its battery technology in other markets, including military and aerospace, asset tracking, medical and others.
